Platelet Rich Fibrin is the 3D fibrin network.

Fibrin scaffold includes high concentration of not activated, functional, intact platelets, leukocytes and mesenchymal stem cells.

All those elements together with fibrin create matrix – three-dimensional structure, which continuously stimulates platelets to release growth agents, cytokines and effectively control migration of mesenchymal stem cells to damaged tissue area.

Growth agents and mesenchymal stem cells while released from fibrin 3D network highly stimulate regeneration of biological tissue.

Platelet Rich Fibrin occurs in liquid fraction suitable for injections (I-PRF) and also in solid fraction called A-PRF (Advanced Platelet Rich Fibrin).

Main indications to apply this therapy are: joint degenerative changes, difficult-to-heal wounds, multi-place disease changes, and ulceration, and soft, bone and cartilage extensive damages.
